The Best Among the Rest: Slumdog Millionaire

These days, I had watched three movies. On Monday, I watched 'All's Well End's Well 2009'.
This is a movie for Chinese New Year. I think it quite nice but a little bit disappointed because I thought I will have a great laugh. You know what I mean...lolz.


Yesterday, I watched 'All About Women'. Talking about using a kind of hormones (I think it is) to get someone falls in love with you.

Today, I watch this movie: 'Slumdog Millionaire'. I like it the most!!!
It's related to a show---'Who wants to be a millionaire?'. This film is about a teen from Mumbai, India, participating on the Indian version of this reality show and won 20,000,000 rupees. It was incredible as he was uneducated!!! So, he was arrested under suspicion of cheating. He had to explained to the police why he knew all the answers by telling the events from his life history.

Recently, I fall in love with channel [V]. I like its programmes especially America's Next Top Model and Canada's Next Top Model. An entertainment show---'Championship Gaming Series' is great too!! About the Remote control, channel [V] VJ, Alvey is adorable. Dom is handsome and Lisa S is such a pretty girl. As for MTV Asia, the shows like VH1:The Fabulous Life and Chart Attack are my favourite. These days, I'm addicted to Pet Society!! So, maybe won't update my blog that often. But if got something to write, I shall update it.XD..♥♥

It's 'Chap Goh Mei' !

Finally,there comes the fifteenth and final day of the Lunar New Year.
There is a unique custom: throwing of oranges into the sea by young unmarried women.
Undoubtedly, the act of throwing tangerines into the sea also signifies that these women are available for marriage!!!=)

'Chap Goh Mei' coincides with the Chinese Valentine's day.
Why is this so??
Well, i got to know such information from somewhere else (copy and paste + some edit) :

"It is the only day in the whole year that young maidens are allowed to stroll the streets but they must be accompanied by a chaperon. So,young men would gather around with hope of catching glimpses of these lovely maidens. According to the legend, there will be a matchmaker from the moon who would tie red strings of destiny on their legs. As a result, the couple will end up being together."
